Posted on Saturday, March 23, 2024

Imagen Technologies is a high-growth healthcare startup enabling patients to be diagnosed, treated, and managed at their primary care appointment (vs. having to refer out to hospitals, imaging centers and other slow and expensive options). Today, we’ve built an AI-enabled platform that enables patients to receive immediate diagnostic tests, rapid results, and immediate next steps – all in a single Primary Care appointment. For example: through our platform, women across the U.S. are now receiving comprehensive breast imaging, results, and specialist-driven next steps at their local Primary Care office, condensing a multi-month diagnostic journey into 60 minutes.

With over $160m in funding from Google Ventures and some of the largest clinical networks in the country, we are rapidly expanding this platform across the U.S. - from 16 states and 500,000 patients in 2023, to 20+ states and 1.5M patients in 2024. By 2026, we will be delivering care across 35 states and to more than 5m patients per year.

Imagen is hiring a talented VP of Growth who will lead the development of new logo partnerships with independent physician groups and physician organizations that are part of regional and national networks. This person is directly accountable for building and executing pursuit plans that drive new business revenue to Imagen. You will own the sales process end-to-end with prospects while leveraging a team of resources, such as lead generation specialists, financial analysts, and sales operations analysts. The ideal candidate has a track record of selling, advising and/or implementing complex solutions/services to independent physician groups and/or health systems. The VP of Growth has extensive knowledge of payment models and experience with primary care delivery from a clinical and/or business operations perspective. They will also have proven success selling to or managing relationships within multiple layers of an organization, from Director to C-suite levels. As an early-stage business, you will play a key role in defining and shaping go-to-market strategy and building a sustainable and scalable sales model. This role requires travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully drive complex sales and deal cycles with large, primary care practices and networks through a high-trust, consultative selling model
  • Embrace a “tip of the spear” model, where you drive the deal cycle and leverage a deal team with subject matter experts and resources
  • Achieve annual growth quota
  • Directly sell, negotiate, and close deals with prospective customers
  • Define and execute a strategy prioritizing the outreach and messaging to prospective customers
  • As necessary, define, build and iterate upon the materials, tools, scripts, playbooks and other resources that will enable you to successfully execute a growth strategy
  • Become an expert on the business models of Imagen and its customers, positioning you as a strong consultative sales leader and business partner

Requirements:

  • Track record of routinely achieving top 10% in your field sales cohorts; consistent President’s Club (or equivalent) member
  • Prior success in developing and executing strategies to sell into complex healthcare environments which require a deep knowledge of your product, service, and industry to successfully serve in a consultative capacity
  • Extensive knowledge of risk based payment models that primary care practices participate in and insight on how successful practices administer and manage them
  • Strong process orientation - you can successfully bring together and manage a team of subject matter experts and resources necessary to drive a sale to completion
  • You take ownership in the success you’ve created and the opportunities you missed. You constantly strive to get better at your craft by analyzing both the wins and the losses
  • Passionate and skilled in generating net-new sales
  • Prior experience participating in, overseeing, or leveraging one or more sales-adjacent resource(s) such as: lead generation specialists, finance and sales analysts, engagement/account managers, etc.
